Not all tasks are equally urgent or important. Some may have a direct impact on your goals, while others may be less critical or dependent on other factors. To prioritize your tasks, you can use a simple matrix that divides them into four categories: urgent and important, urgent but not important, important but not urgent, and neither urgent nor important. Then, focus on the tasks that are urgent and important first, followed by the ones that are important but not urgent. Delegate or eliminate the tasks that are urgent but not important, and avoid the ones that are neither urgent nor important.

The Digital Marketing field is broad and characterized with multiple tasks that are somewhat intertwined for instance for one to share a post it has to be created first and even before the creation an idea has to be generated. What I have found to be helpful in meeting task deadline is to having a work plan that clearly breaks down all the tasks and activities one has to undertake against a specific set time. What most of us digital marketers have is a content calendar forgetting that there are other tasks like content creation, paid advertising management, online community management that have to be factored handled. Having a clear picture of what needs to be done and allocating ample time to each makes handling of the tasks easier.
