This empowers users to navigate the product independently, boosting their overall experience and reducing the frustrations with seeking external help. Tooltips, serve as quick and concise snippets of information that appear when hovering over specific elements within the product. These tooltips succinctly explain the purpose or functionality of a particular feature, eliminating any ambiguity or confusion for the user. In-app guides are another invaluable tool in providing contextual help. These guides walk users through different tasks or processes within the product, offering step-by-step instructions and visual cues.
The sixth step is to review and update your product regularly to keep up with the changing user needs, market trends, and technology advancements. Monitor your product performance, user behavior, and feedback, and use data and insights to identify new features, enhancements, or fixes that can add value to your product and users. Create a visual & immersive learning aid, support tools For long producers have used extensive product literature mostly in the form of text manuals to communicate features. Over the years some have started creating video literature to make users to become familiar with the products & their features. Video literature has been introduced to make learning more cognitive & immersive compared to text. Albeit, this is sub-optimal. Best way one can internalize product features is by increasing deep learning elements. This can be best accomplished using immersive tech - Artificial / Virtual / Mixed reality that brings in ‘Do it Yourself’ (DIY) element. Since this learning is very effective, it also reduces the extent of support that is required.
