Because that's when most people use LinkedIn, especially on the way to work, during breaks or before meetings. and the more people can see the post, the more can interact with it. Recently, I started posting later in the evening because a lot of consumers are on their phones after dinner. I also have experimented and posted early in the mornings before standard work days to catch the early crowd before they leave for work. Not sticking to the typical 8-5 window will spread content out and allow many audiences to consume it.
